Dr. John E. Sanderson is Professor of Medicine and Therapeutics and Head of the Division of Cardiology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, The Prince of Wales Hospital, Hong Kong. Dr Sanderson’s main research interests are heart failure, the cardiomyopathy, hypertension, echocardiography especially the study of diastolic and systolic function, and biventricular pacing (cardiac resynchronization therapy) for heart failure. He has published 150 papers in international journals. He is a fellow of many academic societies.
