我谨以大会主席、卫生部心血管防治研究中心主任、阜外心血管病医院院长的名义，代表大会组委会荣幸的欢迎各位同道参加由卫生部心血管病防治研究中心主办的“北京国际心血管病论坛”。
自 2004 年举办首次“北京国际心血管病论坛”以来，论坛一直关注心内科、心外科、心血管影像学、心血管检验医学、心血管护理学、介入心脏病学、心律失常、预防心脏病学及基础医学的研究进展。为配合中国政府发展社区医疗，改善就医环境，解决看病难的实际问题，今年特为基层医生增设了“心电图学”、“心内科”等专题讲座，为广大的基层和社区医护人员提供一个更新的心血管病预防、诊断和治疗的新进展，通过基层一线同道，惠及广大患者及人民群众。
“北京国际心血管病论坛”愿成为一个国内、外心血管病领域学术交流和争鸣的平台，以促进心血管病预防、诊断治疗和研究的发展与提高。
值此，恰逢中国医学研究院阜外心血管病医院建院 50 周年，阜外医院系列院庆活动之一的庆典大会也将与国际心血管病论坛一并举行。

Dear Friends and Colleagues
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is my great pleasure
to invite you cordially to attend theInternational Heart Forum
Beijing 2006 to be held in Beijing, China, on August 18-21, 2006,
organized by the National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases of
China (NCCD).
The forum is going to be one of the largest and the most comprehensive
conference in China featuring the latest developments in all areas
of cardiovascular diseases, including basic, clinical, and population aspects.
Distinguished scientists will be invited to present their original
scientific works and clinicians will debate the hottest topics
for day to day clinical practice. In addition, the forum will provide
the opportunity for all attendees to exchange information on education,
translation medicine and genomic medicine.The organizer wish to
bridge the gap between basic research and clinical practice and
look for the solution for the future medicine, and the solution
for the differences in the prevalence,risk factors and prevention
of the disease between esterners and westerners, and people in
other parts of the world.
You are strongly encouraged you to be selective, to plan your
own helping on the events and the scientific sessions of the forum
and to make it success.
